The ROCC Youth Purposes

Connect youth to God’s people: New Youth from inside and outside of the church get connected to each other through Outreach (5th Quarters), Sundays and ultimately Small Groups

Connect youth to God: Any Youth connected to ROCC youth professes Jesus as their Lord and Savior. This usually happens through relationships, which our mission trips, outreach, Sundays and even Small Groups are geared to facilitate.

Transform Lives of Youth: The attending youth show signs of “Life Transformation” (God working in them) through sharing in Small Groups and Sunday morning discussion groups designed to foster Life transformation. We also want to foster opportunities for “Life Transformation” of our youth through them serving others.
Build Servant Leaders: Youth become leaders of the church and community through service

Here are some environments offered by the ROCC Youth Ministry to facilitate connection, transformed lives and service

Sunday Morning Services: A place for youth to learn the Bible, to share their hearts and to get connected with each other

Small Groups: This is the main environment where lasting life transformation is fostered through sharing with each other and getting deep into the scriptures.

Outreach: Outreach has occurred in many forms through the ROCC Youth, from mission trips, to serving unbelievers in the community to inviting friends to a 5th Quarter. We offer several different opportunities to empty ourselves and reach out to others so that they may see and meet the living God of the Universe.

Ongoing Environments:

Sunday Mornings 10:00 am at Blackman High (Worship with the whole Body in the Auditorium and then meet with the youth usually in the Blackman Gym)

Small Groups

Guy’s Small Group- Tuesday’s 7:00-9:00 pm at the Mahoney’s house (available for all ages)

Mixed High School Group- Wednesdays 7:00-9:00 pm at the Chase’s house

Girl’s Small Group- Wednesdays 7:00-9:00 pm at the Church Office (available for all ages)

Week Night Middle School Groups- Tuesday and Wednesday Evenings are Coming Soon depending on the number of youth interested.

The 5th Quarter (Outreach)

ROCC Youth, bring your seeker friends to the Boys and Girls Club Friday Nights from 9:00pm-12:00am. Any youth who is seeking God, come and Experience God through fun, worship and relationships.
