Mega Sports Camp is back in Murfreesboro June 23th-26th at Blackman High School from 6-9pm, and it is free! This high energy camp is designed to give kids ages 4-12 the chance to run, jump and just be kids!! We’ll focus on positive sports instruction by pro and college experienced coaches. Campers learn two sports from football, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, game room, tumbling, dance, golf, and karate. High energy music rallies, t-shirt, and snacks included. However, everyone is invited to our Mega Sports Camp Family Celebration on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 10 am at Blackman High School !!! Hope to see you there !!

The Dream Team is Planning!!!

Monday, February 11th, 2008

The Dream Team plans, organizes, and leads ROCC’s big events.

We invite you to take part as we stay committed to appreciating our volunteers and remain as an outward focused church. The Team is preparing for 3 big events this year:

1. ROCCStar Gala (April 4)
ROCCStar GalaWe will get all dressed up (can you believe it?) and have an evening to remember to celebrate our volunteers at ROCC. If you serve in any area at ROCC, mark your calendars for a fun, delicious and reflective time. More info on the way…
2. Mega Sports Camp
(June 23-June 26)

It’s back!
We will get athletic once again as we reach out to Murfreesboro and beyond. We have seen a lot of spiritual fruit over the years during this event as we use sports to present the gospel of Jesus Christ. We need volunteers to help put this together and lead activities.
3. ROCC‘n The ‘Boro (Nov. 17-Nov.23)
We will spend a week all around Murfreesboro serving others in Jesus’ name. This event allows us to use servant evangelism to go to where people are and meet them in their deepest needs.

Mega Sports Camp 2007 recap

Friday, June 8th, 2007

Mega Sports Camp finished out last night in a BIG way!!
We had over 80 kids who stood to receive Christ into their heart at the end of the invitation talk from Stace Hackett and we have close to 20 who have expressed a desire to be baptized this coming sunday!! Like the song says, our God IS an awesome God! We are so thankful for the way the Holy Spirit moved in the hearts of the kids last night and are looking forward to baptizing them this weekend.

A special thanks to the Dream Team led by Kristen Motz, and to Johna Green, who with God’s help did what looked like an almost impossible feat 6 months ago…and pulled all the details together to make this year’s MSC an amazing one.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out. Not only was it great to have you serve in your individual areas, but having the entire church working together for one common goal was wonderful to see.

This sunday, we will have baptism during the service, as well as a lunch celebration after church. Hamburgers and hot dogs etc will be provided. Just show up hungry after church and join us as we celebrate the past week at MSC. There will be some inflatables for the kids and rumor has it, a sno-cone machine and cotton candy machine on site as well.
